We're already experiencing stress in the rest of our lives. The most important thing about our community is that it's relaxed. Whether you're in the private real-time chat group or on the public forums, we come together to brainstorm, learn, and laugh. Join in with whatever fits you. We're chill.
The Virtual Watercooler
If you've never used Slack before...maybe you've used Hipchat? Or AOL back in the day? Like those, Slack is a place to talk to others asynchronously.
Most people in the Slack channel are in their 30s or 40s, but everyone is welcome. We have hundreds of members from around the world. It's the place to be.
Public Forums for Questions
Since the Beautiful Voyager Forum is an easy-to-read page of the site, like the blog, you don't need to download software to join (you do with Slack). If you want, you can also post anonymously on the forum by choosing your own username.
It's easy to browse topics on the forum. There will be ongoing series launching later this year on the forum, so sign up to get notified of the latest forum posts.
No joining needed. Just click and go!
Or write for the BV!
If you've never written before, it might surprise you to feel the power of sharing your own experience.
The goal of the Beautiful Voyager is to let people know that they aren't alone, and that there are more approaches out there than they might think.
An important part of the community is sharing your own experience in whatever works for you. Writing for the blog is a great place to start. Email me your suggestion, and let's go!
